How to Enable or Restrict the "Move to Cart" Feature

The Move to Cart toggle allows store owners to control whether customers can transfer saved items directly from their wishlist into the shopping cart. You can choose to enable or disable this functionality globally for all products across your store, or restrict it selectively based on specific product tags.

Default Behavior

• Enabled by Default: This feature is turned ON by default for both existing and newly installed stores.

• Standard Storefront Experience: Shoppers can move items from their wishlist directly into the cart without any configuration changes unless you explicitly adjust your settings.

How to Configure Global Access

If you want to allow or prevent shoppers from moving any wishlisted item to the cart across your entire store:

1. Open your Shopify Admin and navigate to Apps > Hulk Advanced Wishlist.

2. Go to Settings > General settings.

3. Scroll down to the Wishlist page section and locate Cart action.

4. Toggle the switch labeled Allow moving items to cart to your desired preference (ON or OFF).

5. Click Save Changes.

How to Restrict "Move to Cart" Using Product Tags

If you want to disable the "Move to Cart" action only for specific items (such as pre-order products, auction items, or out-of-stock inventory), you can exclude them using product tags:

1. In your app dashboard, navigate to Settings > General settings.

2. Scroll to the Selective display section.

3. Locate Hide move to cart on some products and check the box to enable it.

4. In the input box, enter the exact Shopify product tag(s) you wish to exclude (e.g., pre-order, final-sale) and press Enter.

5. Click Save Changes.
