Why does Hulk Product Options load on every page of my store, not just product pages?

The app does more than show options on product pages. If your store uses a cart drawer (a slide-out cart), shoppers can open it from any page, such as the homepage, a collection page or a search results page. So that the app works wherever the cart drawer opens, its script loads across the whole store.

From inside the cart drawer, the app:

- Checks required options so items can't be checked out with missing selections.

- Updates selections when shoppers edit their options in the cart.

- Blocks checkout until every required option is filled in.

If the script loaded only on product pages, these checks would stop working whenever a shopper opened the cart drawer from another page. That could lead to incomplete or incorrect orders.
