What is the Tracking Page?

The Tracking Page allows your customers to:

  • Track their order status in real-time

  • View shipping updates from carriers

  • See estimated delivery details

  • Access tracking in their native language (optional)

You can fully customize and publish this page to match your store branding.


How to Set Up Your Default Tracking Page

Step 1: Open Tracking Page Settings

  1. Go to Shopify Admin

  2. Open Apps

  3. Click Order Status Tracker

  4. Navigate to Settings

  5. Select the Tracking Page tab


Default Tracking Page

The Default Tracking Page is the page customers will see when they visit your tracking URL.

Inside this section, you can:

  • View the published tracking page link

  • Customize the page design

  • Publish a different page

  • Manage multiple tracking pages

Options Available

  • Customize – Edit the layout and branding

  • More – Additional actions

  • Publish – Make a selected page live


Localized Shipping Carrier Messages

If you sell internationally, this feature is highly recommended.

What it does:

It automatically translates carrier shipping updates into your customer’s native language.

How to enable:

  1. Go to Localized shipping carrier messages

  2. Check the box:

    “Translate carrier shipping updates to the customer's native language”

This improves customer experience and reduces support tickets.


Managing Your Tracking Page Library

You can create and manage multiple tracking pages.

This is useful if:

  • You run multiple storefronts

  • You want seasonal designs

  • You want A/B testing variations

In the Tracking Page Library, you can:

  • View existing pages

  • Customize them

  • Publish a specific version

  • Create new pages

Each page shows:

  • Creation date

  • Page URL

  • Publish status


Creating a New Tracking Page

Using Drag-and-Drop Editor

Order Status Tracker includes an easy Online Store Editor.

Steps:

  1. Scroll to the Themes section

  2. Choose Drag-and-drop

  3. Click Add

  4. Customize layout, branding, and content

  5. Save your changes

  6. Click Publish to make it live

You can match:

  • Brand colors

  • Fonts

  • Logo

  • Layout style

No coding required.


Publishing Your Tracking Page

After customization:

  1. Go to Your Tracking Page Library

  2. Click Publish on the page you want active

  3. Confirm

Your selected page will now become the Default Tracking Page.


Best Practices

To maximize customer experience:

✅ Add your brand logo
✅ Match your store colors
✅ Enable language translation for international stores
✅ Add helpful messaging (shipping FAQs, contact info)
✅ Include upsell or cross-sell sections (if applicable)


Troubleshooting

Tracking page not showing updates?

  • Ensure the order has tracking number added in Shopify

  • Confirm carrier integration is active

  • Check that the page is published

Customers reporting incorrect language?

  • Verify the translation toggle is enabled

  • Confirm browser language detection is active
