How to Integrate Mailchimp & Klaviyo with Hulk Form Builder
Connecting Hulk Form Builder with email service providers (ESPs) like Mailchimp and Klaviyo allows you to automatically create subscriber profiles, pass custom form attributes, and capture email marketing consent upon form submission.
1. Global Setup (Connecting Your ESP)
Navigate to Settings → Integrations → Email Service Provider.
Toggle on Enable Email Integration.
Select your provider (Mailchimp or Klaviyo).
Enter your provider's API Key and save changes.
2. Mailchimp Integration Setup
Step A: Obtain Your Mailchimp API Key
Log in to Mailchimp and go to Account & Profile → Extras → API keys.
Generate a new API key, copy it, and paste it into Hulk Form Builder under Settings → Integrations.
Step B: Enable Integration on Your Form
Open your target form in Hulk Form Builder.
Go to Settings → Integrations → Email Service Provider.
Enable Mailchimp Integration and select your desired Mailchimp List.
Step C: Map Fields & Consent
Email Marketing Consent: Add a Checkbox or Privacy Notice element to your form and set the Mailchimp Field value to
accepts_marketing. Users will only be subscribed to your list if they check this box.Custom Field Mapping: To sync additional form inputs to Mailchimp, create corresponding Field Tags inside your Mailchimp account first. Then, enter those matching field tags into the Mailchimp Field parameter of each form element.
3. Klaviyo Integration Setup
Step A: Obtain Your Klaviyo API Key
Log in to Klaviyo and go to Account Settings → API Keys.
Select Create Private API Key and set the access permissions to Full Access.
Copy the key and paste it into Hulk Form Builder under Settings → Integrations.
Step B: Configure Klaviyo & Enable Integration
In Klaviyo, set your target list settings to Single Opt-in.
Open your target form in Hulk Form Builder, navigate to Integrations, and toggle on Klaviyo Integration.
Step C: Map Fields & Supported Properties
Email Marketing Consent: Add a Checkbox or Privacy Notice element to your form and enter
accepts_marketinginto the Klaviyo Field.

Consent Required: Subscribers will only be added to your email list if they explicitly check the consent element containing
accepts_marketing. Unchecked submissions will not trigger a subscription.Klaviyo API Permissions: Always ensure your Klaviyo Private API key has Full Access; restricted access keys may cause profile sync failures.
